He is survived by: his mother Billie Lee McKenzie Carswell of Scotts, NC.; his wife Janice Kaye Griffin Carswell of Kings Mountain, NC; his daughters, Terri Wysong (Guy) of Kettering, OH and Christine Carswell of Broadway, NC; his stepchildren, Gina Baker of Kings Mountain, NC and Steve Taylor (Joann) of York, SC; his sister Carol Schubert (Tim) of Adrian, MI; and his grandchildren, Tristin, Hali, Austin and Savannah. He is also survived by three great grandchildren, one niece, and one nephew.
