He was predeceased by: his mother Peggy Chapman Burris. He is survived by: his wife Brenda Bentley; his stepchildren, Maddie and Zack; and his father Jack Burris of Statesville.
Visitation was held on Sunday, March 9th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:30 PM at the Chapman Funeral Home (158 Stony Point School Rd, Stony Point, NC 28678).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Gordon Hospice House or My Sister's House.
