With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Franklin Delano Rimmer (Stony Point, North Carolina), born in Alexander, North Carolina, who passed away on December 4, 2019 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Hayward Rimmer and Gertrude Murdock Rimmer; his sons, Eddie Ray Rimmer and Randy Allen Rimmer; and his siblings, Knox Rimmer, Leo Rimmer, Nell Weaver and Helen Adams.

He is survived by: his wife Mildred Jan Fox Rimmer; his sisters, Doris Overcash of Stony Point, Margie Moore of Statesville and Willie Little of Taylorsville; his grandchildren, Anthony Rimmer (Kristy), Seth Rimmer, Shane Rimmer, Zach Rimmer and Stacy Mellin; and his great grandchild Kiley Rimmer.
