He is survived by: his children, Jeffery Lynn Chapman of Stony Point and Georgeina Chapman (Jamie) of Statesville; his siblings, Joe Chapman of Stony Point, Judy Payne (Phil) of Stony Point and Red Timberlake (Ed); and his grandson Johnny Lynn Chapman.
