Johnston (Lisa) of Wilkesboro; his grandchildren, Carla Horvath, Natalie Horvath, Noah Lindquist, Leslie Guillen, Angelina Johnston, Rebecca Bonagura (Joey), Alexandra Johnston, Christian Arzate and Jacob Johnston (LeeAnn); his great grandchildren, Remi, Jack and Oliver; his brothers, James Copeland of Texas and Jerry Copeland (Kathleen) of South Carolina; his brother-in-law Donald Turk; his niece Jean; his nephew Chase; and his pet Thomas.
