He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Marcus Dalton and Connie Moyer Dalton; and his daughter Sametra. He is survived by: his wife Doris Dalton; his son Reginald (Donna); and his grandsons, Jalen and Emory. He is also survived by cousins, other relatives and friends.
