It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruby Irene Lester (Stoneville, North Carolina), born in Rockingham, North Carolina, who passed away on October 25, 2011, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Oliver and Rosa Mae Bell Lester; and her siblings, Roy Thomas Lester, John Edward Lester, Myrtle Lester Watts and Lucy L. Lester.
She is survived by: her sisters, Eleanor L. Purgason of Mayodan, Bessie E. Lester of Stoneville and Hilda L. Purgason of Mayodan. She is also survived by four nieces and four nephews.
