She was predeceased by: her father Robert Ray Watkins, Sr.; her brother Robert "Bobby" Ray Watkin, Jr.; and her aunts, Mary Ann Joyce, Alma Watkins Hall and Aileen Watkins Nance.
She is survived by: her sons, Brian Shelton (Tonya) and Ernest "Ernie" Shelton (Debra); her grandchildren, Courtney Shelton, Gracie Rae Shelton and Sarah Jane Mabe; her siblings, Ricky, Keith Watkins, Gail Evans and Brenda Hundley; her aunt Annie Cassady; and her pet Allie. She is also survived by several nephews and nieces.
