He was predeceased by: his mother Lillie Blackburn Adams. He is survived by: his father Bill Adams of Elkin; his wife Linda Blackburn; his daughter Emily Rose Blackburn; and his siblings, Loretta Poindexter of State Road and Billy Adams (Donna) of Elkin. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
