She was predeceased by: her parents, Donald Eugene Gilley and Peggy Shelton Gilley; her daughter Tammy Farmer; her grandson Joseph Richardson; and her brother Donald Ray Gilley.

She is survived by: her husband Buddy Richardson; and her children, Chuck Richardson (Emily), B. J. Richardson (Mary), Brandon Richardson (Brandi), Anthony Briggs, Mary Ruth Houston (Ron), Kim Richardson and Heather Haggerman. She is also survived by grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
