With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joseph W. Shropshire (Stoneville, North Carolina), who passed away on January 25, 2020 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Bland Shropshire and Ethel Murphy Shropshire. He is survived by: his former wife Linda Carter Shropshire of Greensboro, NC; and his nieces, Sophia and Maggie Gordy. He is also survived by many other nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made in his name to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
