With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Mason Burroughs of Stoneville, North Carolina, born in Rockingham, North Carolina, who passed away on October 11, 2020 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Davis Burroughs and Mary Ruth Bullins Burroughs; his wife Christine Coleman Burroughs; his brother Bobby Burroughs; and his son-in-law Grady Wilson.
He is survived by: his daughters, Misty Wilson (John) and Mindi Flynn (Scottie); his grandchildren, Macie Peters Turner (Cary), Kristian Flynn, Noah Flynn, Jennifer Wilson and Katina Wilson; his great grandchildren, Makayla Wilson, Jadyn Wilson and Ramatou Sanahori; his great great grandchild Bradyn Wilson; his sisters, Mary Lou Grogan, Dorothy Welch (Odell) and Margaret Ann Burroughs; and his friends, Floyd Joyce and J. C. Smith. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Social distancing guidelines will be observed and face coverings are encouraged.
