He was predeceased by: his parents, Pannell Shelton and Lillian Rakestraw Shelton; and his siblings, Pauline Hensley, Jamie and Bob Shelton.
He is survived by: his wife Wanda Stovall Shelton; his children, Gretchen Shelton-Raiford (Phil), Greg Shelton (Kathryn) and Genna Holt (Chad); his grandchildren, Chase, Claudia, Reid, Reese, Claire Raiford, Raychel, Grayson Shelton, Halle and Hollis Holt; and his siblings, Joanne Hall (William), Odell (Freeda) and Dewey Shelton (Juanita).
The funeral service will be held at the church on Saturday, October 31, 2020 at 2 p. m. Due to Covid 19, the service can be heard in the church parking lot on radio station 100. 1. Face coverings and social distancing are recommended.
