With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Claire Carter Case (Stoneville, North Carolina), born in Sacramento, California, who passed away on March 24, 2024 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry John Lehman and Myrtle Elizabeth Rosenberger Lehman; her former husband Robert Jennings Carter; and her sisters, Hazel Jernigan, Beverly Westcott and Sally Tackett.
She is survived by: her husband Howard Case; her children, Lynn Flowers (Steve), Nick Carter (Kristi), Randy Carter (Beth), Danny Carter, Teresa Case Robertson (Joey), Brad Case (Susan) and Tracy Case Blackard; her grandchildren, Kory Flowers, Titia Carter Leonard, Kevin Wimbish, Kasey Flowers Mitchell, Carla Carter Winrow, Nicholas Carter, Erin Carter Standhart, Justin Case, Jake Robertson, Kristin Case Kennedy, Anna Carter, Claire Mosley, George Carter III, Lehman Carter, Robert Carter, Austin Case, Casey Blackard, Lexi Blackard, Brody Blackard and Bradyn Case; and her sister Margaret Neeley (Betty Lawson) of Sacramento, CA. She is also survived by twenty-nine great-grandchildren.
