Bonnie S. Haley Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Bonnie S. Haley of Stoneville, North Carolina, born in Henry County, Virginia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 17, 2024 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Rev. Roy T. Richardson and Jessie Ellen Richardson; her siblings, Ida Ellen Deaton, Eva Lois Edwards and Roy Thomas Richardson; and her grandfather Eli Vestal.
She is survived by: her husband Coy Alton Smith; her son Randal Fabian Smith; her granddaughters, Donna Rochelle Smith and Andrea Dawn Smith; her sister Jessie Leigh Murphy; and her sister-in-law Mary Ellen Richardson. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, October 24th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Colonial Funeral Home (127 Ellisboro Rd, Madison, NC 27025). A funeral service was held on Friday, October 25th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family is asking for donations for the non-profit "Beloved Asheville" to help families in Western NC. Keep Bonnie 's legacy alive by donating to a charity in need.
