William left this world on June 25, 2024 at the age of 92, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was predeceased by: his parents, William Wilson Tye, Sr. and Dorothy Foster Tye; his former wife Audrey Hall Tye; and his wife Anna Davis Tye. He is survived by: his daughters, Pattie Armstrong (Kenny) and Terry Rakestraw (Ronald); his stepdaughters, Catherine Doby (Mark) and Melissa Berrier (Brad); his grandchildren, David (Mary Whitney), Patrick Rakestraw (Gina), Chrissy Webster (David) and Kenna Armstrong; and his stepgrandchildren, Caroline Doby, Payton and Parker Berrier. He is also survived by eight great grandchildren.
