She was predeceased by: her mother Frances Maxcy Laing; and her son Jeffrey Stafford. She is survived by: her husband Larry Joyner; her father Leroy Hopkins; and her sisters, Lora McMichael (Jerry) of Stokesdale, NC and Sheila Gordon of Stokesdale, NC..
