She was predeceased by: her parents, Grady Venable and Bessie Wall Venable; her husband Jimmy Lee Knight; her sons, Jimmy Wayne Knight and Samuel Gray Knight; her great grandchild Austin Knight; and her siblings, Ruby McMichael, Romie, Bill, Tom, Raymond and John Venable.

She is survived by: her sons, Jerry Knight (Nenita) and Keith Knight; and her grandchildren, Sammy Knight, Jennifer Fang, Crystal Knight, Kandace Knight and Katlyn Maldonado. She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 31st 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:45 PM at the Forbis & Dick Funeral Service - Stokesdale Chapel (8320 US-158, Stokesdale, NC 27357). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, December 31st 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
