He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Benjamin Kallam, Sr. and Ruth Clifton Kallam. He is survived by: his wife Deborah Johnson Kallam; and his siblings, Billy Gray Kallam (Diane) of Ridgeway, VA, Judy Lane Proctor of Fieldale, VA and June Hope Goins (Franklin) of Stoneville.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
