He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Ernest and Lillie Jane Case Alley; and his brothers, Woodrow, Warner, Wartha and Winfred Alley.
He is survived by: his wife Carrie Belle Shelton Alley; his daughters, Karen Eanes (Jimmie) and Cheryl Stigall (John); his grandchildren, John Eanes (Kelley), Jill Gibson (Brian), Matthew Stigall (Laura) and Lauren Dixon (Phillip); and his brothers-in-law, Edward Shelton, Eugene Shelton (Gwynn) and David Shelton. He is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.
The family asks that in lieu of flowers memorial donations be sent to Gideon Grove United Methodist Church in honor of Orell.
