She was predeceased by: her parents, Tommie Johnson and Brona Chrismon Johnson; her husband Fred Hunter, III; and her brother Marion Johnson. She is survived by: her son Bobby Atkins (Joy); her brother Marvin Johnson (Linda Rhodes) of Browns Summit; her grandchildren, Angela Renee Ambrose (Bryan) and Chrismon Atkins (Ashley); and her great grandchildren, Paul C. Atkins, Reagan Ambrose and Glenn Ambrose.
As Mary was a huge animal lover, the family requests that memorial donations be made to the humane society of the donor's choice.
