With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Margaret Louise Whitaker Nelson (Stokesdale, North Carolina), who passed away on May 12, 2020 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Richard Allen Whitaker and Marybelle Smith Whitaker; her husband James Henry Nelson, Sr.; her children, James Henry Nelson, Jr., Wayne Nelson (Jackie Lynn) of Summerfield and Anna Hurd of Greensboro; and her grandchildren, James H. 'Jimmy Nelson, III (Tina), Angela Loman, Jeff Nelson (Wendy), Andy Bowlin (Stacy), Jamie Bowlin, Ashley Crews (Mike) and Heather Beeson (Mark). She was also cherished by 12 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren.
