She was predeceased by: her parents, John Ashburn and Eleanor Cratch Ashburn; and her sister Carolina Baker. She is survived by: her husband Jay Joyce; her children, Roger Rich (Angela) of Fayetteville, Aireal Smith of Martinsville and Amber Joyce of Randleman; and her siblings, Rosemary Kennedy (Douglas) and Michael Ashburn of Eden. She is also survived by 4 grandchildren.
