She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl Stevenson and Ocie Faye Clevinger Stevenson; her siblings, James E. Stevenson of Check, VA and Ruby E. Stevenson of Danville, VA.; and her grandson Jacob Akers.
She is survived by: her husband James F. Akers of Indian Valley, VA; her siblings, Shirley A. Fain, George Pete Stevenson of Danville, VA and Donny H. Stevenson of Richmond, VA.; her family James Dwayne Akers (Angela Akers); her granddaughter Victoria Elizabeth Akers (Skylar); her family Jody L. Akers (Angie H. Akers); and her grandson Logan Alexander Akers.
She would also want to thank the Hospice of Rockingham County members, and ask that you send donations to them in lieu of flowers.
