It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Leola Vaughn of Stokesdale, North Carolina, who passed away on February 10, 2025, at the age of 101, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Charlie Virgil Matthews and Nina Lake Robinson; her husband James Dewey Vaughn; and her brothers, Clifton Matthews (Ruby) and Paul Warren (Phyllis).
She is survived by: her nephew Jeff Matthews (Gloria); and her nieces, Susan Jones (Randle) and Jane East (Jim). She is also survived by her great-nieces and nephews, great-great nieces and nephew and other extended family.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Stokesdale United Methodist Church (8305 Loyola Dr, Stokesdale, NC 27357). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
