He was predeceased by: his father Earl D. Chaney, Sr.; and his brothers, David Chaney and Earl Chaney, Jr.. He is survived by: his mother Betty Bowlin Chaney; his siblings, Ray Chaney (Simone) of Greensboro, Tabitha Whitmore (Brian) of Oak Ridge and Sheryl Martin (Dale) of Stokesdale; his nieces and nephews, Megan Chaney (Neal), Brittany Taylor, Skylar Martin (Katelyn) and Cassie Martin (Josh); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Teryn, Lillie, Raelyn, Jaxson and Jameson; and his friend Debra Jones.
In appreciation for the many wonderful years Jackie spent at Gateway, the family requests that donations in his memory be made to Gateway Education Center, 3205 E. Wendover Avenue, Greensboro, NC 27405.
