She was predeceased by: her parents, Herbert Joseph and Daisy Della Lawson Kennedy of Danbury; her husband Lewis Merrill Coleman; and her siblings, William Kennedy, Buddy Kennedy, Donald Braxton Kennedy, Fount Kennedy, Thelma Marie Kennedy and Mattie Ruth Kennedy Hicks.
She is survived by: her daughter Betty Carole Coleman of Madison, NC; her grandchildren, Donna Rierson Stanley (Joseph) of Madison and Robert J. Rierson (Ryann) of Kernersville; her great grandchildren, Diana Elizabeth Stanley and Travis Lane Rierson; her nephew Ronnie Kennedy; and her pets, Bentley and Lily. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
