She was predeceased by: her parents, Claiborne Victor and Fay Wilma Brown Cawthorne; and her brother Clayborne Cawthorne. She is survived by: her husband Robert Allen Tuttle; her daughter Theresa Boney; her grandson Dale Boney (Jennifer Lemons); her sister Faye C. Oaks; and her pet Maggie. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

A reception was held on Saturday, August 24th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Forbis and Dick Funeral Service Stokesdale Chapel (8320 US-158, Stokesdale, NC 27357).
