She was predeceased by: her parents, Edwin Murphey and Dorothy Murphey; her husbands, Earl Winfree and Leslie Russell; and her sister Jo Ezell.
She is survived by: her children, Earl Clifton 'Cliff Winfree, Jr. of Danbury, Edmon Glenn Winfree (Terri) of Winston-Salem, Sharon W. Morrow, Mac' of Summerfield and Steven Wayne Winfree of Stokesdale; her stepson Jeff Russell (Jane); and her grandchildren, Savannah Winfree, Molly Winfree, Ashley McClintock, Brian Keith Jones, Jill L. Gamez, Charles David Jones and Lee Winfree. She is also survived by 5 great grandchildren.
