It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Delia Willis of Stokesdale, North Carolina, born in New Bern, North Carolina, who passed away on March 15, 2021, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Alwyn H. Phillips, Sr. and Josephine Duer Phillips; her husband Charles Gerald Willis; and her siblings, Alwyn H. Phillips, Jr., Gary Phillips, Marie Leduc and Yvonne Edwards.
She is survived by: her daughters, Katherine Radford (Alvin) and Susan Wingo (James); and her grandchildren, Brent Smith (Erin), Chad Smith (Brandi), Dona McCorquodale (Tyler), Brandon Radford, Sabrina Keen (Jeff) and Samantha Ogburn (Bill). She is also survived by 9 great grandchildren; 3 great-great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
