She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Scott Simmons, Jr. and Annie Ruth Glidewell Simmons; her son Matthew Arrington; and her brother Billy Simmons. She is survived by: her son Christopher Arrington (Karen); her siblings, Jean Vest, Carol Simmons, Fred Scott Simmons, Jim Simmons, Paul Simmons, Rick Simmons and Ray Simmons; and her grandchildren, Kira Arrington, Layla Arrington, Christopher Arrington, II and Ariel Arrington.
