He is survived by: his parents, Laura Ellington Gentry and Darrin E. Whitaker, Sr. (Sherry); his sister Farah Lynn Cooke; his half-sister Hannah Whitaker; his stepbrother Brian Gentry; his grandmother Sarah Ellington Lambert; and his uncles, Darrell Ellington and Scott Whitaker. He is also survived by numerous special friends and extended family.
