He was predeceased by: his parents, Dale Harvard and Glenola Walker Dean; and his brother David Crawford Dean. He is survived by: his wife Henrietta Daniel Dean; his daughters, Karen Shears (Todd), Pamela Vaught (Floyd) and Amanda Young; his grandchildren, Dustin Ellington (Nicky), Whitney Dixon (Phil) and Matthew Shears (Lauren); and his great grandchildren, Chloe Ellington, Brice Ellington, Hallie Dixon, Brett Dixon and Henry Shears.
The family requests that memorial contributions be made to Faith Baptist Tabernacle or to the American Heart Association in lieu of flowers.
