It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Crescenza Butafucco Vessa (Stokesdale, North Carolina), born in Astoria, New York, who passed away on August 10, 2020, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Butafucco and Roses Butafucco; and her husband Pater Vessa. She is survived by: her sons, Peter Joseph Vessa, Jr. of Colfax and Louis Robert Vessa (Kimberly Williams) of Oak Ridge; her grandchildren, Kevin Calkins (Lindsay), Christina Vessa Stewart (Kenny) and Kyle Vessa; and her great grandchildren, Dylan Calkins, Brylee Stewart, Madeline Calkins and Drew Stewart.
