He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Blakley and Kathryn Speas Blakley. He is survived by: his wife Lynda Brown Blakley; his children, Mary Lynn McDowell (Bert) and Bobby Blakley Jr. (Marsha); his grandchildren, Maggy McDowell, Cameron Blakley, Connor Blakley and Brooke Spach; his siblings, Linda Rhoades (Arthur), Billy Blakley (Pat) and Johnny Blakley (Robin); and his siblings-in-law, Janie Roberson (Mike), Donna Kiger and Joe Brown (Angie). He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:45 PM at the Gideon Grove United Methodist Church (2865 Gideon Grove Church Rd, Stokesdale, NC 27357). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
