He was predeceased by: his parents, Sumner Woodrow Earley and Ruby Norville Earley; his sister Dorethea Earley Joyner; his niece Penny Coyne; and his nephews, Barry Earley and Sonny Joyner.
He is survived by: his wife Susan; his brothers, Rondal "Ron" Earley (Marilyn) of Suffolk, VA and Wayne Earley (Betty) of Kitty Hawk, NC; his brother-in-law William Powell (Eddie-Jo) of Shawboro, NC; his nieces and nephews, Paxtin Powell, Brian Earley (Sherry), Derrick Earley, Brenda Earley, Beth McDowell and Julie Strong; and his goddaughters, Carolyn Pierce and Catherine Pierce.
Due to the resurgence of COVID and the inclement weather the family will plan a celebration of life service at a later date.
