Thaxton Junior Harrison Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Thaxton Junior Harrison of Stokes, North Carolina, born in Danbury, North Carolina, who passed away on September 29, 2024 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Josie Mae Lankford Harrison and Freddie Noel Harrison; and his brothers, Dannie Harrison and Gene Monroe Harrison. He is survived by: his wife Allene Niten Harrison; his son Greg Harrison; his daughter-in-law Tammy Harrison; his daughter Pam Harrison Hooker; his son-in-law Sam Hooker; his grandchildren, Amber Harrison Koch (Logan), Harrison Hooker, Gabrielle Hooker Roach (Kade), Isabella Harrison and Alivia Harrison; his great grandchildren, Ezekiel Guerra, Alaia Dior Warren, Otto Scott Robinson Koch and Salem Scott Meredith Koch; and his siblings, Debra Harrison Alford and Mark Harrison. He is also survived by extended family and loving nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 4th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:45 PM at the Poplar Springs Christian Church (7120 NC-66, King, NC 27021). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, October 4th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
