We are sad to announce that on August 8, 2022, at the age of 81, Gladys Joyce Martin of Stokes, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parent Mary Gibson Joyce; her sister Brenda Stephens (Johnny); and her stepmother Ruby Joyce. She is survived by: her spouse Jesse; her children, Myrene Reyes (Jesse) of Summit, NJ, Meritza Moorefied (Jerry) of Sandy Ridge, NC and Floyd Martin (Patricia) of Oak Ridge, NC.; and her grandchildren, Alexa Moorefield Pope (Austin), Jackson Moorefield (Salem), Isabel Reyes, Jesse Martin, Joshua Reyes and Caleb Martin. She is also survived by her family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Stokes County Retired School Personnel Scholarship Fund.
