He is survived by: his wife Dora East Gibson; his children, Jody Gibson, Sr. (Karen) and Terri Gibson Sweatt; his grandchildren, Bradley Sweatt (Shelby), Jacob Sweatt (Katie), Josh Gibson, Thomas Gibson and Kerri Clemmons (Daniel); his great grandchildren, Caroline Sweatt, Owen Sweatt and Charles Clemmons; his sisters, Robin Moore, Tammy Kendrick (Perry) and Vonda Hardy (Barry); his goddaughter Vicky Wilson; and his close friend David Brown. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and friends.
