With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Bobby Bennett Jr. of Stokes, North Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 21, 2025 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, may Bobby find peace everlasting, cradled in the gentle embrace of the universe. And as we stand on the shores of remembrance, may his legacy inspire us to live each day with purpose, passion, and profound gratitude for the gift of life itself.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Bobby E. Bennett Sr. and Annie Lee Wall; and his brother Stanley Bennett. He is survived by: his wife Myra Watts Bennett; his daughter Elesha "Lisa" B. Sheppard (Darryl); his granddaughter Hailey Leeann Sheppard; his brother Robby L. Bennett (Tammie); his nephew Joshua Bennett; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Jorel and Jaxon Bennett.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Colonial Funeral Home Stokes Chapel (1020 Hope Beasley Rd, Sandy Ridge, NC 27046).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Stoney Ridge Baptist Church Cemetery Fund, 1030 Stoney Ridge Rd. Westfield, N.C. 27053.
