Bertha Scott Corns Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Bertha Scott Corns in Stokes, North Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 7, 2024 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Bertha Scott may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.

She was predeceased by: her parents, C. B. Scott and Margaret Scott; and her husband Bethel Corns. She is survived by: her children, Michael Corns (Deborah) and Kathy Slawter (Ron); her granddaughters, Kara Slawter and Jenna Bowman (Nicholas); and her great grandchildren, Ethan and Isaac Bowman.

A graveside service was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Corns Family Cemetery.
