He was predeceased by: his parents, John Franklin Wilson and Minnie Lee Brown Wilson; and his siblings, Gilmer, Leroy, Cecil Wilson, Virginia W. Hawkins, Mildred W. Collins and Peggy W. Grey.
He is survived by: his wife Sonja Richardson Wilson; his daughters, Susan W. Brown (Matt) and Carla Wilson (Wesley Durham); his grandchildren, Kayla Brown, Gavin Brown, Luke Brown and Jackson Durham; and his sister Janie W. Williams. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great nephews.
