Stanley Smith Obituary
Stanley Smith, 70, of Stem passed away Tuesday, February 15, 2022 at his home.
Stanley was born in Franklin County to the late Willis Hayes Smith and Rebecca Lorraine Spell. Stanley was a plumber by trade, a master craftsman in carpentry, welding, farming and mechanical repairs. He was a collector of antique tractors, an avid reader, history buff, gun enthusiast and in touch with the state of political affairs.
Funeral services will be held Monday, February 21, 2022 at Eakes Funeral Home in Creedmoor at 11:00 AM officiated by Pastor Leon James. Burial will follow at Smith Family Cemetery, 1545 Jack Clement Rd., Stem, NC 27581.
He leaves to cherish his memory, a daughter, Amy Smith Addison of Creedmoor; two sons, Jason Smith of Oxford and Jared Smith of Butner; the love of his youth, the mother of his children and companion in his later years, Audrey Smith of Stem; two sisters, Lisa Smith Willis of Norlina and Deborah Smith Pulley of Kittrell; a brother, Kenneth R. Smith of Stem, eight grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and an entire community that will miss his laugh, his knowledge and his willingness to help anyone in need.
Visitation will be held Monday, February 21, 2022 from 9:30 – 10:45 AM at Eakes Funeral Home in Creedmoor.
