With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sophia Obrien Boyd of Stem, North Carolina, who passed away on August 26, 2022 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father Linwood Lee Obrien; her husband Robert "Bob" Boyd; her daughter Christy Boyd; her siblings, Doris Oakley, Mable Bowling, Shelby Tingen and Harold Obrien; and her son-in-law James "Jamie" Williams.
She is survived by: her children, Carolyn Boyd, Sherwood Boyd Tammy Williams (Lisa) and Stacey Peace (T. K.); her grandchildren, Wesley, Chasity, Chad, Aaron, Amber, Trey and Nolan; her great grandchildren, Collin, Megan, Ariel, Emmy, Alistair, Aurelio and Atticus; and her sisters, Earlean West and Lorene Elliott.
