She was predeceased by: her parents, Emory Young and Rose Massey Young; her daughter Michelle Carroll; and her siblings, Willette Buchanan, Gwinette Ledwell, Winfred Young and Wilton Young.
She is survived by: her husband Charles Frank Carroll; her son Shane Carroll; her grandchildren, Shawn and Regine; and her siblings, Linda Williams, Gail Bradford (Nick) and Malcom Young (Elaine). She is also survived by four great grandchildren.
