It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Walter Wetherington (Stella, North Carolina), who passed away on October 17, 2019, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Alonza Franklin and Julia Pearl Kelly Wetherington of Stella, NC.; his wife Dora Bell; his siblings, Beatrice Young, Louise Guthrie, Marie Jones and Clyde Henderson Wetherington; and his grandson Eric Ryan Wetherington.
He is survived by: his children, Jon Wetherington (Janet), Jo Mohn (David) and Jan Buckmaster (Mike); his grandchildren, Brandon Wetherington, Justin Wetherington, Adam Mohn (Katie), Kacy Sales Brian Buckmaster (Katelin) and Mark Buckmaster; and his great grandchildren, Carter, Chloe Sales and Josie Kathryn Mohn.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Midway United Methodist Church.
