It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sandra Alexander of Stella, North Carolina, born in Portsmouth, Virginia, who passed away on August 19, 2020, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Harvey Wheeler and Jewell Pennell Wheeler; her son Scott Alexander; and her siblings, Donald Wheeler and Mona Mick.
She is survived by: her husband Frederick Thomason; her children, Brandi Alexander (Chris) of Swansboro and James "Jimmy" Alexander (Debra) of Hubert; and her sister Peggy Poole (Richard) of Portsmouth, VA. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; seven great grandchildren.
