It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elizabeth Kay Tew (Stella, North Carolina), born in Delaware, Ohio, who passed away on June 29, 2019, at the age of 62, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ray Terry and Catherine Terry of Hope Mills, NC.; her brother Danny Terry of Hope Mills; and her son Ricky Jackson of Hope Mills. She is survived by: her husband Johnny Tew of Stella, NC; her children, Joe Hamilton (Crystal) of Rocky Mount, NC, Becky Deasy (Bobby) of Charlotte, NC and Chad Tew (Kerry) of Southern Pines, NC; her brothers, Jerry Terry (Sandra) of Stella, NC, Phil Terry (Sheila) of Peletier, NC and Billy Terry of Hope Mills, NC; and her grandchildren, Drake, Jade of Rocky Mount, NC and Caleb of Charlotte, NC..
In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made in her honor to the Ronald McDonald House of Chapel Hill, a charity that was very near and dear to her heart.
