She was predeceased by: her husband Allen Derwood Morris; her parents, Demas Guthrie and Pearl Smith Guthrie; and her siblings, Ruby Sewell, Jo Sidden, Doris Walker and Perry Lee Guthrie.

She is survived by: her children, Tina Morris, William Morris (Suzie) of Stella and Johnny Morris of Stella. She is also survived by five grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
