He is survived by: his wife Stella Alligood Gaskins; his children, Sherrell Gaskins (Jane) of Monroe and Vicki Gaskins Brown (John) of Vanceboro; and his grandchildren, John Ashley Brown (Spencer) of Greenville, Jenny Brown Younce (Landon) of Greenville, Jessica Brown Park (David) of Clayton, Jeremy Gaskins (Brittany) of Monroe and Shirley Gaskins of Monroe. He is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
